Angela Ponce has made history as the first transwoman to be crowned Miss Universe Spain and the first transwoman to ever compete at the Miss Universe stage when she represents her country in the Miss Universe competition later this year.

Miriam Paredes emerged first runner-up while Sheila Monjas placed second runner-up. Racquel Arias, Vanessa Fernandez, and Andrea de las Herras completed the Top 6 finalists.

The 25-year-old model from Cadiz previously competed in Miss World Spain 2015 pageant. She lost to Mireia Lalaguna.

She was actually a he before! !! Watch out for her in Miss Universe 2018
